Overview: I’m confident that you have heard this phrase or something similar as a clinician nurse educator/facilitator, but how often do you stop to ask, “Is simulation the best modality to achieve your objective outcomes?”. At Gold Coast Health simulation has become an increasingly embed practice with our health service, with much of our work focused on translational simulation. The backbone of our work is solid design and delivery choices. During our 3-hour workshop we will have the opportunity to collaborate while revisiting some of the foundational principles of scenario design and contemplating how simulation best fits with our education plans.

In preparation for your attendance at the workshop – we would encourage you to take a moment to work through the self-paced open access model from our colleagues at Simulcast on Scenario Design.

For those with a little extra time we would also recommend this article and module.
