Poster Guidelines

The Spine Society of Australia ASM posters will be electronic.

Please read through the information below carefully and ensure you complete all tasks by the allocated deadline.

Electronic Poster
Your poster will be displayed electronically on the Conference App. Please upload your single page PDF to the following Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/request/Np8dptHLfN7ZqYNRm58s

Please format the name of your poster as follows: PaperNumber_Surname,First Initial_SSA2022 Digital Poster.

Your digital poster will be included in a resource gallery, accessible through the SSA 2022 conference app, alongside a copy of your abstract.

All digital poster files must be submitted via the Dropbox link above by Tuesday 17 May 2022. Any submissions received after this deadline will not be confirmed. If you have any questions relating to your digital poster submission, please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Poster Prize
The Spine Society of Australia will offer a prize of $1000 for the best poster. The winner will be announced on the last day of the Scientific Meeting, on Sunday 29 May 2022.

Please note, only the posters being presented in the Top Posters session will be judged and considered for the prize. Posters will be judged on their clarity and scientific merit.

Poster Format Suggestion: #betterposter

Most conferences and scientific meeting’s use the same old, wall-of-text poster design. We know, we’ve been doing it too!

This year, the SSA wants to try to improve the efficiency of the transfer of knowledge at their ASM, by encouraging authors to use the #betterposter format.

Traditional, wall-of-text posters make delegates search for the main finding. The aim of the #betterposter template is to make sharing the main findings of each poster easier.

The main colour of your poster is up to you. Colours haven’t been allocated to a certain abstract type or theme
QR Codes: If you choose to include one on your poster, a unique code can be made here

Registration

All presenters must register by the early bird registration deadline of Friday 22 April 2022, for their poster to be included in the program.

A personalised registration link has been sent to all poster presenters. If you cannot find this link you can also just register here.

A reminder no funding or discounted registrations are available for submitted abstracts authors.

No longer submitting a poster?

If you have any questions, or can no longer present your poster, please contact the SSA 2022 Conference Secretariat via ssa2022@dcconferences.com.au providing the paper number and author of the abstract that is being withdrawn.
