Airtrain
Once you’ve arrived, getting around Brisbane is a pleasure with its first-class network of travel and transport links. From the airport, board the Airtrain for a direct transfer to the city (kids 14 and under travel free) and links the domestic and international terminals. Brisbane Airport is located less than 20 minutes from the city centre via train.The Airtrain runs every 15 minutes in rush hour and every 30 minutes off-peak, departing from both terminals at the Brisbane Airport. Cruise
The Cruise Terminal at Portside Wharf welcomes the majority of cruise liners that dock in Brisbane. Located on the north side of the city and home to a buzzing dining precinct, Portside Wharf is a luxury landing for cruise passengers.

Weather
Brisbane enjoys subtropical climate providing warm to hot weather for most of the year. August is Brisbane’s winter, which is generally dry and mild with mean temperatures between 11 - 21°C (51.8 - 69.8°F). Early mornings and nights can be crisp, but overnight lows rarely drop below 9°C (48.2°F).
Currency
Australian money comes in both notes and coins. The notes are: $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100. The coins are: 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents, and $1 and $2. You’ll find currency exchange facilities at the international airport, throughout the city centre, and at most banks and Australia Post offices.
