Fellows Special Interest Groups and Networking Sessions (Roundtables)
Expressions of interest are called from NHMRC-ARC Dementia Research Development Fellowship and Dementia Research Leadership Fellows to convene a roundtable discussion on specific dementia research priority areas.
These sessions will be limited in number.
Proposals should include a topic, a brief justification (no more than half a page) and nominate at least one senior researcher as a Sponsor of the session. The Sponsor’s role at a minimum will be to assist in shaping the agenda for the discussion and suggest and make introduction to possible ‘thought leader’ participants.
Anticipated outcomes include:
- Formation of ongoing Special Interest Groups around particular research themes
- Opportunities for coordination and collaboration
- Potential new research directions
- Addressing policy challenges for dementia research and translation
Convenors will provide a communique from the session for potential publication / broad distribution.
Expressions of interest should be submitted using the Abstract Portal via the link below.
