A number of exciting activities have been organised for USANZ NSW Section Meeting 2022 delegates on Friday 11th November 2022.

Nan Tien Temple Guided Tour Meet at Bourke Rd entrance to Novotel North Beach at 2.00pm Enjoy a 90 minute tour of visual delights of grand architecture, art and culture by a highly trained tour guides of the Nan Tien Temple. The tour will not only involve the unique visual experience of the buildings, statues, shrines & beautiful gardens but will provide an insight into Chinese culture and the beliefs and practices of Humanistic Buddhism. Get to know more about Wollongong and all the surrounding historical sites including Wollongong Harbour, the Forts (Flagstaff Hill and Smiths Hill), the Old Courthouse, the Tramway, the Pools and Northbeach. This tour is a 2.5 – 3-hour walking tour of the Blue Mile – starting at Flagstaff Hill and concluding at the Old Courthouse – with a 30-minute refreshment break. Along the way our experienced guide relay the stories of the Foreshore – including its Indigenous history, sea bathing, coal, salt making, trading, the start of industry in Wollongong and how we defended ourselves. Tour Information: * Cost - $25 per person (payable directly to tour operator) Wollongong Golf Club Gather your colleagues and arrange around of 9 holes of golf at Wollongong Golf Club which is situated on a magnificent stretch of pristine coastline. Its close proximity to the city and the beach, the fantastic views along the coast and the stunning mountain backdrop, make it one of the most unique golfing experiences in NSW.
