PUBLISHING FOR ORTHOPAEDIC NURSES WORKSHOP THURSDAY
Thursday, October 26, 2017 |
12:46 PM - 1:44 PM |
Golden South |
Overview
Complimentary to attend. Presented by Julie Santy-Tomlinson, Rebecca Jester and Paul McLeish from the International Journal of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing.
Details
This workshop is designed to allow participants one on one meetings with editors from the International Journal of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing (IJOTN) to discuss potential publications.
As orthopaedic nurses it is vital that we share our experiences in practice and research so others can learn. Publishing these experiences in any type of forum- conference, journal, newsletter etc is valuable.
You may not be confident in the writing or publishing process or maybe you are not confident that you have anything worthy to contribute. We can ensure you that you do and encourage you to attend one of the workshops to help you get started in the publication process and potentially mentor you throughout the process.
Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend, come along even if you only have a rough idea of what you would like to consider publishing.
