Welcome Message
On behalf of the SSA President, Dr Rob Kuru and the members of the Spine Society of Australia, I'd like to invite you to the annual Registrars and Fellows Instructional Course.
This year, the course is focusing on the cervical spine. It will be held at the Flinders Surgical Lab at Tonsley, Adelaide on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October 2023.
The course will combine a mixture of:
- didactic presentations
- small group case discussions and,
- cadaveric skills lab
As per last year, the instructional course in 2023 will utilise both cadaveric specimens along with the Fusetec clinical education and training models. The course structure will feature three 2-hour long hands on skills training sessions.
The faculty for the course are experienced practicing neuro and orthopaedic surgeons, and expert scientists. In 2023 we thank both Medtronic and Globus Medical who have agreed to sponsor this workshop, the program could not run without their support.
