Welcome Message
On behalf of the SSA President, Dr Rob Kuru and the members of the Spine Society of Australia, I'd like to invite you to the annual Registrars and Fellows Instructional Course.
This year, the course is titled Back to Basics. It will be held at the Flinders Surgical Lab at Tonsley, Adelaide on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 November 2022.
The course will combine a mixture of:
- didactic presentations and
- cadaveric skills lab
The instructional course in 2022 will utilise both cadaveric specimens along with Fusetec clinical education and training models. This will be the first time the course has used these simulation models that will provide a realist anatomical accurate medical training device.
The faculty for the course are experienced practicing neuro and orthopaedic surgeons, and expert scientists. NuVasive will sponsor this year's workshop and we thank them for their support.
