Associate Professor Michael Pollack
Michael is a Senior Rehabilitation Physician working as the Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at the John Hunter Hospital, and as the Clinical Theme Leader with the Centre for Rehab Innovations (CRI). He has a conjoint appointment with the University of Newcastle (Associate Professor) and has a private practice with Brisbane Waters Private Hospital and Berkeley Vale Private Hospital. He is currently on the executive of the NSW Health ACI Rehabilitation Network, and the NSW Rehabilitation Community of Practice. He leads the Research Working Group for the AFRM.
Michael is primarily a clinician but has had over forty publications in Peer Reviewed Journals and Chapters, and continues research with the CRI as well as other co-investigators. He has been the Burniston Orator for the AFRM at the RACP Congress in 2018.
Beyond clinical practice Michael has strong interest in research, strategic planning and model of care development.
