Delving into Pain

For the past 28 years the Pain Interest Group Nursing Issues (PIGNI) has been providing educational meetings and support to nurses caring for patients experiencing pain. PIGNI continues to be the largest pain management focused Professional Development Day for nurses in New South Wales.

The event attracts over 250 nursing and other allied health clinicians from metropolitan and regional centres, offering an opportunity for your company to meet with general nurses involved in pain management and specialist nurses working in multidisciplinary acute and chronic pain services.

The theme, Delving into Pain, will reflect on the International Association for the Study of Pain 2019 - Global Year Against Pain in the Most Vulnerable. The program will focus on issues relating to pain management in some of the most vulnerable in our community such as the elderly, those with psychiatric conditions and people with brain injury.
