NSANZ is hosting the 14th International Neuromodulation Society (INS) Congress in Sydney from the 25 – 30 May 2019. In association with the Congress, NSANZ is pleased to offer a pre-congress hands-on Cadaver Workshop on Radiofrequency Procedures. The workshop will be held on Saturday 25 May 2019 at Macquarie University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The clinical program will address hands-on aspects of radiofrequency (RF) interventional pain procedures. It will support those starting out but also cater for the more experienced interventional physician.
The NSANZ Cadaver Workshop will focus on the radiofrequency ablation technique of the spine (lumbar, thoracic, cervical), pelvic and sacroiliac joint. Radiofrequency technique for craniofacial pain, hip and knee along with sympathetic plexus will also be demonstrated. The hands-on workshop will feature conventional RF, Pulsed RF, Cooled RF and Bipolar RF technique.
The panel of educators will include NSANZ Executive Board members: Dr Richard Sullivan, Dr Nick Christelis, Dr Murray Taverner, Dr Phil Finch and Dr James Yu.
At the 2019 workshop, additional faculty with extensive experience in RF technology will be joining the panel: Dr Lewis Holford, Dr Peter Georgius, Dr Romil Jain, Dr KE Khor and Dr Dan Bates and Dr Rob Wright.
