Welcome Message

On behalf of the Australian Nurse Teachers’ Society (ANTS) and Conference Organising Committee, I invite you to the 19th National Nurse Education Conference in 2023, to be held 7-9 June 2023.

The theme ‘Create, Innovate, Energise’ reflects the inspiring work and experiences by nurses and midwives in education. We wish to celebrate our successes together and energise our creativity for our future practice.

As health professionals we have a commitment to life-long learning, and we recognise the importance of keeping abreast with current developments in our field of practice. The conference will allow you to share knowledge and celebrate experiences through invited speakers, presentations, research opportunities, and networking.

We encourage delegates from all fields related to nurse education, such as clinical experts, hospital educators, academics, managers, and other health educators, to attend the conference. We also encourage abstracts to be submitted from a wide range of contexts.

We look forward to seeing you at Sea World, Gold Coast for the 19th National Nurse Education Conference, 7-9 June 2023, to explore the theme ‘Create, Innovate, Energise’ and expand and energise your nursing/midwifery educational practice.

Dr Julie Shaw,
National President,
Chair,
NNEC 2023 Conference Organising Committee
