We would like to welcome you all to the beautiful city of Sydney for the conjoint 3rd USANZ Biennial Functional Urology Symposium and 14th Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Annual Meeting. Australia became the fifth member country of the PPCS in 2016. The PPCS Annual Meeting is held in different member countries each year and in 2019, it is Australia’s turn to host this prestigious Asia-Pacific meeting on functional and female urology. Joining forces with the USANZ Biennial Functional Symposium, this year’s meeting will prove to be one of the best functional urology conferences in this part of the world.
Over a two and a half day program we will address some of the challenges in the field of functional urology and share knowledge with our national and international counterparts.
This program will comprise of pre-congress symposia, presentations by international and national speakers, special lectures as well as poster presentation sessions. Themes for discussion will include transitional and adolescent functional urology, male and female incontinence, overactive and underactive bladder, BPH-LUTS, neurourology, pelvic organ prolapse surgery including robotics, novel and minimally-invasive BPH treatment, urodynamics and basic sciences. A “Young Generation Forum”, initiated by Professor Han-Chorng Kuo last year in Taiwan, will again feature during this meeting, allowing young and keen functional urologists and residents to network and share their practical experiences.
In addition to the science of this meeting delegates will be able to enjoy Sydney’s beautiful scenery, beaches, gastronomy and culture.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney.
